Since graduating from Lamda, Alex has worked extensively across film, television and theatre. Including acting in many feature films. He specialises in audition technique.

Day 1
Alex will lead young actors through a drama school style warm up. There will be a series of get to know exercises and we ensure that everyone feels included and supported. Then, an introduction to creating characters and scenes. The students will work in small, age appropriate groups to begin creating an ideal scenario and character for an audition setting. This will be created with a series of improvisation and storytelling workshops.
Day 2
Lily & Alex will direct each group to ensure maximum support. Each student should be playing a role that has a clear interesting arc that would reflect their abilities positively in a casting setting. Professional acting techniques such as objectives, given circumstances and tactics will be taught throughout the two days. The students will have a chance to reflect on their character and their new skills they have learnt over the two days. Finally the students will perform their scenes in their groups to a panel of 3 professional actors that have worked extensively across film, television & theatre. Each student will receive encouraging feedback and direction. Parents are invited to watch the panel audition.
