We run weekly acting classes and short courses for under 18's. Yes, we audition and expect a particular attitude from our students, but we do not require previous experience. At YPS of Acting, we like to see enthusiasm and work ethic. Every term you will be taught by trained actors, directors and casting directors to prepare you for the acting industry - if that's where you want to be. Maybe you just want to study acting a bit more seriously! That's also great! If you live near Esher, Surrey. Apply to audition on the 26th January 2021. This term, our Surrey acting classes moved to the Virtual Studio, where the students studied scenes from hit films and television series, such as La La Land, Stranger Things and To the Bone and more. We invited the parents into our session to show them the acting techniques the students had learnt.

Our young actors in training discussed each period of time during the pandemic. The challenge was to create the script using film, news articles, quotes - any words that were not their own.

A film created during the UK's first lockdown. All scenes were filmed in each of the student's own homes and the script was written by each young actor. This was a therapeutic and fascinating project at a strange period in time.
