Lamda Examinations

What are Lamda Exams? 

Lamda are a prestigious drama school that have trained some of the best actors in the world. They are also an examining board for acting and other performance exams.

Why do Lamda exams? 

Acting examinations are a great way to build acting and public speaking skills. It takes dedication, hard work and focus to complete and do well in a Lamda exam, which is great sense of achievement. If you are a little more serious about acting and are auditioning or hoping to go to castings, Lamda is a great way to get accustomed to performing in front of a panel. 

How much? 

We offer one fee per exam which covers all private tuition, if you need more lessons than planned we will supply them at no extra cost. Only extra cost is the examination fee, which parents must book and pay for separately.

Where? 

We do a mixture of training at our student's homes and via zoom, depending on what is most convenient for you. If we are training online, we always make sure we have at least 2 sessions in person before the exam. 

The exam will take place at Lamda in London.

Who?

You do not have to be a current student with YPS. All lessons will be taught by actor and director of YPS of Acting, Lily Driver-Thurston.
